Rack Elevation Diagram Builder
A browser tool for laying out rack elevations and turning them into documentation you can hand to a client.
Rack elevations get drawn twice: once roughly, to think with, and once properly, because someone else has to approve or install from it. The second version is the slow one, and it is usually done in a tool that was never meant for racks.
That is the part being built. It comes from the same place as the calculators here — the arithmetic and the paperwork around infrastructure work are both more error-prone than they look, and both reward being done properly once rather than approximately every time.
In the meantime
If you are planning a cabinet right now, the Rack Unit (U) Planner covers the space arithmetic, and the power and cooling calculators cover what usually runs out before space does. All of them are free, tested, and need no account.
