Reporting a calculation error

These are the messages we most want to receive. To make a report actionable, please include:

Which tool, and the exact inputs you used
The figure the tool produced
The figure you expected, and how you derived it
A standard or datasheet reference, if you have one

Confirmed errors are fixed and deployed quickly. An incorrect engineering tool is worse than no tool at all.

Suggesting a tool

If there is a calculation you keep doing by hand or in a spreadsheet, tell us what it is and what inputs it takes. The most useful suggestions come with a real example of the work you are doing.
