Terms of Use

Last updated 31 July 2026

Acceptance

By using InfraToolbox you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

The tools are for planning, not for certification

This is the important clause, so it is stated plainly. The calculators produce estimates for planning purposes. They are not engineering certifications, they do not constitute professional advice, and they must not be used as the sole basis for:

Always verify results against manufacturer documentation, the applicable standards, and a qualified engineer licensed in your jurisdiction. Local electrical and building codes take precedence over anything on this site.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While the calculations are unit-tested against known values and we correct errors promptly when they are reported, we do not warrant that the site is free of errors, available without interruption, or fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage — including equipment damage, downtime, lost data, lost profits or consequential losses — arising from use of, or reliance on, this site.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Intellectual property

The site's content, design and code are owned by their author. You may freely use the resultsthe calculators produce in your own work, including commercial work — that is what they are for. You may not republish the site's content or reproduce the tools as your own.

Third-party links and advertising

The site links to external resources and carries third-party advertising. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it. Advertising is handled as described in the privacy policy.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page will change when they are, and continued use afterwards constitutes acceptance.
